Lose weight before summer with the help of aesthetic medicine.
In addition to an adapted diet (prescribed by a professional), a healthy diet, and adapted sports practices, cosmetic medicine can give you a life-saving boost.
Indeed, different surgical procedures are allowing you to lose weight effectively and find the silhouette you want.
Liposuction
- Liposuction is one of the surgical solutions allowing a particularly significant loss of weight and volume.
- It allows us to act on often rebellious areas like the belly, the thighs but also the buttocks or breeches.
- It is a relatively short operation (between 20 minutes and 1 hour 30 minutes) which allows a definitive and appreciable result. It is possible to remove, using annular, between 5 and 6 liters of localized fat at one time.
- The treated area can no longer be enlarged afterward. It is nevertheless recommended to keep a balanced diet and a sustained sports activity.
Cryolipolysis
Cryolipolysis is a non-invasive technique for removing fat and unsightly bulges in the cold. The technique is also used to get rid of cellulite quickly and painlessly.
Also called Cool-sculpting, from the name of the first device allowing this intervention and today supplemented by a new range of competing machines the method reproduces the effect of cold and can be used on localized beads as on the belly, thighs but also on the double chin. The fat cells are “frozen” and then eliminated naturally by the patient's lymphatic system. This technique is particularly effective because, after three months, around 25% of fat cells are destroyed and are not replaced in the body.
Very popular because it is minimally invasive and painless, this technique is gaining more and more acceptance, both in men and in women. Nevertheless, cryo lipolysis is contraindicated for obese people and in pregnant women because it acts on sub-dermal fat and not on so-called visceral fat.
Tummy Tuck
Tummy tucks or tummy tucks is a term for cosmetic or reconstructive surgery to beautify your stomach. It allows you to reshape the abdomen while removing excess skin, excess fat but also strengthening the different muscles of the abdominal wall.
The rhinoplasty allows you to act on three levels:
- reducing excess belly fat often seen in men after 40 and in women after menopause
- by reducing excess skin that can develop after several pregnancies or after a more or less significant weight loss
- tightening the abdominal muscles, especially the rectus
- It is also possible to combine rhinoplasty and liposuction to refine the result on excess fat.
- Note also that the rhinoplasty can be proposed after a massive weight loss following a very important diet, the installation of a by-pass, a gastric annulus, sleeve, or after a pregnancy if the skin is too loose.
The Bodylift
This technique can be akin to a body lift to remove excess fat and skin in certain areas, especially located in the middle third of the silhouette, so the abdominal belt, hips, buttocks ...
Often associated with the installation of a bypass, the body lift improves the appearance of the trunk. Also called circular appendectomy, the technique helps to tighten the skin after removing the excess and to tighten the residual fatty tissue.
During the operation, it is possible to remove a strip of skin and fat with a width of between 20 and 40 cm depending on the case, generally in the belly and buttocks. The damaged and excess skin is then removed and the healthy skin is tightened. The body lift can also be accompanied by liposuction of the affected areas and sometimes it is necessary to treat the abdominal muscles that are too distended.
This technique leaves a low circular scar at the waist.
